ABSTRACT
A field producer’s job begins long before they leave the newsroom. This chapter includes a checklist of equipment and apps that every mobile journalist needs to have in their arsenal. Readers will also learn how to create a plan (and a backup plan) for field coverage, including designating a point person in the newsroom.
