ABSTRACT
A producer may not be responsible for creating all the content included in a newscast, field report, or online news package. However, the producer is often the point person for the final result. Chapter 14: Taking Ownership of Stories and Shows guides aspiring producers in creating a system that helps them assume full ownership for their given project by creating a checks-and-balances system, enforcing a clear deadline policy, and delegating duties with a purpose.
