ABSTRACT
News producers play a vital role because they are actively participating with nearly everyone on the news team daily in order to create newscasts. Producers must accept the responsibility to lead the direction of their newscast, manage the individuals contributing content to the newscast, and coach everyone to play their role by adhering to the established policies. This chapter covers ways to effectively collaborate with content contributors and the newsroom team.
