ABSTRACT

As a hands-on profession, physical therapy education has traditionally been delivered in a face-to-face environment. Lately, multiple entry-level doctor of physical therapy (DPT) programs are attempting to deliver curriculum in a blended environment. This chapter focuses on the design of a blended DPT program that integrated monthly face-to-face components and online activities. Students’ perceptions of their learning of psychomotor skills in the blended program and implications for the design of blended DPT programs are shared.
