ABSTRACT

Over a half decade ago, we started the conceptualization of Social Media and Crisis Communication with Routledge as the first scholarly book on this topic. The first edition was then published about half decade ago (Austin & Jin, 2017). With the continued support of Routledge and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from our readers and book reviewers, we have worked on the second edition since early 2020 and wrap it up now with excitement and gratitude.
