ABSTRACT
The chapter provides an opportunity for various Research for Development (R4D) agencies to provide their perspectives and work to promote the conservation and sustainable use of neglected and underutilised species (NUS). Perspectives from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Self Help Africa (SHA), Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), UN System Standing Committee on Nutrition (UNSCN), the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and the International Development Research Centre-Canada are presented.
