ABSTRACT

Venezuela is crumbling into pieces: more than 20,000 violent deaths per year, nearly a third of the country is food insecure or malnourished, over 7 million people have emigrated the country... Making theatre in a crisis-torn country like this one, compels creators to responsibly relate it to its surrounding reality, exploring the possibility of curative catharsis for social resilience. Here are some methodological ideas to trigger creativity in that direction.
