ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we discuss how leadership and advocacy within these two settings are unique and how professional counselors working in schools and universities can infuse leadership and advocacy within their role. Additionally, we identify critical and current issues related to K-12 schools and universities and provide specific examples of how school counselors and college counselors and student affairs professionals can be leaders and advocates related to these topics. Finally, we present a special focus on crisis and disaster related to leadership and advocacy in schools and universities.
