ABSTRACT
Although the counseling profession has had strong and fearless leaders who have established and advanced the counseling profession, the counseling profession now faces the challenge of diversifying its leaders to reflect the counseling profession and the communities that we serve. This chapter discusses the future needs of the counseling profession related to leadership and advocacy and provides recommendations for how the counseling profession can continue to mature.
