ABSTRACT

This brief series of reflections shares observations and raises questions about the relationship between disability studies and Black feminist political projects, including abolition feminism. The essay suggests that the disability studies refusal of recovery or restitution can serve as a point of convergence with abolition feminist and other Black feminist projects’ refusal of incorporation and visibility. It is not intended to be a comprehensive survey of points of convergence between the fields but instead a point of departure for further inquiry.
