ABSTRACT
In the introductory chapter of this book, focused on global citizenship and promoting equity and social justice, I provide a brief overview of the essential framework that informed the conceptualization of this book—the Critical Literacies Advancement Model (CLAM) (Robinson, 2020). I start by describing its history and evolution, and conclude by discussing its future potential.
