ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on combining principles of sensory integration with other approaches in the school-based setting, taking a systematic approach to assessment and intervention planning. The chapter highlights intervention models that are unique to school-based practice such as collaborating with a classroom teacher to embed sensory opportunities into the classroom. The reader will be challenged to consider participation barriers and how to best support the students considering the principles of sensory integration.
