After the Youth’s firit Years have been employed in Reading his native Language, and proper Care has been taken to explain and inform him of the Meaning and Force of Words as they prevent; the next Step is to initiate him in the Rudiments of Grammar: In which, at first, nothing is more material, than to be very particular in the regular division and Formation of Syllables. Geography, as it informs us of the Situation of the fcveral Parts of the Earth, the Diftancc and Bearing of Places, the Extent, Language, Religion, and Products of different Countries; as it is the Key to Hiftory and the public News, and needful to the forming a right Judgment of our Country, its interest and Concerns; is of too great Importance to be neglected.
