ABSTRACT

A three-day intensive symposium offered the authors the opportunity to engage in lively discussions and co-design projects regarding the thematics of the book. Issues of inclusion and diversity, visibility in public space, and the ambiguity of queering space surfaced as rich areas of focus. This process is represented here through a series of visual essays comprised of photographs and short descriptions. These sections, namely, 01 Collaboration in Action, 02 Write Now, 03 The [Un]Built, and 04 Co-Design Cover, demonstrate co-design practices at work. Methods of making, mapping, writing, and collective modelling offer ways of working for future practice.
