ABSTRACT

Obtaining the financial resources necessary to start and maintain a business is often a complicated task. Similarly, the common entrepreneur’s lack of knowledge about how to invoice their first products, how to sell in order to be profitable or where to go to apply for credit, loans or aid are also factors to be considered. This is even more true when we are talking about a rural habitat or a rural target market.

In this chapter we offer readers a short guide to methods of obtaining funding and provide some key aspects that should be considered before and during the implementation of the entrepreneurial project.
