ABSTRACT

Andrew is one of those people one hears about before ever meeting them. There are stories and anecdotes, some true, some false, but all of which contribute to the atmosphere of the first meeting. This was also true of my first meeting with Andrew. When I started my training in Jungian psychology in Poland, we read Andrew’s papers and some chapters from his books as part of our seminars. His status was somewhat legendary, although I guess there is always something legendary about Jungian analysts from one part of Europe, from the perspective of those from the other part of Europe! All in all, Jungians are a rare species.
