ABSTRACT
This Introduction provides a context for the essays in this volume, and then offers a brief description of each essay. The essays in this volume contribute to a contemporary growth of interest among philosophers in the themes of experiencing death, surviving death, being immortal, and having an eternal life. They were all delivered at the Thirteenth Conference of the British Society for Philosophy of Religion, held in September 2019.
