ABSTRACT
Recent decisions of the United States Supreme Court have stimulated an abundance of analysis and guidance on the standards for evaluating scientific evidence. This guidance 1 has attempted to familiarize judges and lawyers with the methods and basic theories of many scientific disciplines, from genetics and DNA 186fingerprinting, to toxicology, statistics and other diverse fields.
