ABSTRACT
Users of radioactive materials and generators of low-level radioactive waste (LLRW) will face significant operational challenges and changes during the decade of the 1990s. This chapter reviews legislation, regulation, and other factors related to users of radioactive materials and generators of low-level radioactive waste at commercial waste disposal facilities.
