ABSTRACT

The international situation is one characterized by great disorder on the earth. "The wind sweeping through the tower heralds a rising storm in the mountains." The awakening and growth of the Third World is a major event in contemporary international relations. The Third World has strengthened its unity in the struggle against hegemonism and power politics of the superpowers and is playing an ever more significant role in international affairs. Lenin said that "an essential feature of imperialism is the rivalry between several great powers in the striving for hegemony." Lenin put it well: "There are compromises and compromises. One must be able to analyze the situation and the concrete conditions of each compromise or of each variety of compromise. One must learn to distinguish between a man who gave the bandits money and firearms in order to lessen the damage they can do and facilitate their capture and execution.
