ABSTRACT
I have struggled to find words where feelings prevail in the maelstrom of confusion as well as understanding the realms of jealousy and envy. I have been asked to write about the analyst’s encounters with “jealousy,” a protected domain sequestered away, in contrast to envy that arises in a more conscious realm.
