In this article a brief review of scientific publications dealing with industrial relations (IR) in the context of the European process of integration is given. The close orientation towards supranational industrial relations means that the many international comparative studies are not taken into account. Although most of the scientific publications concerning the European integration deal with historic-cultural, political-strategic and politico-economic questions, more and more labour politics related publications are released, especially since the Maastricht Treaty becomes more and more implemented.
