ABSTRACT

NEw-Jersey is part of the Province of New-Albion aforementioned, and is subdivided into East and West Jersey. 27 East-Jersey lies between 39 and 41 Degrees of North Latitude being about 12 Degrees more to the South than the City of London; It is bounded on the South-East by the main Sea, East by that vast Navigable stream called Hudsons River, west by a line of Division which separates it from West-Jersey, and North upon the Main Land, and extends it self in length on the Sea-Coasts, and along Hudsons River, one Hundred English Miles and upward.
