ABSTRACT

HItherto I have treated only of some Voyages and Discoveries made by divers worthy Englishmen into several parts of America, I shall now proceed to give an Account of the Discovery, Plantation, and Settlement of those Countreys and Islands in the West-Indies, of which the English are in Possession at this day, and shall therefore begin with this Country, as being farthest North, and so proceed South, toward the Equinoctial Line, according to my proposed Method.
