This chapter offers a framework and an exemplar case study suitable for discussing The Principles for Responsible Management Education topics in class exercises to build new skills. It follows the career change of a successful Silicon Valley corporate leader to a new position as head of a mission-driven nonprofit organization, showing the role of a leader in shaping the purpose of an organization in society. Jeff began to hire new staff with more corporate experience. The experiential role-play exercises are developed for leaders who wish to implement the United Nations Global Compact goals for their organizations. The chapter relates to the purpose of business in society, values, and the processes/methods that enable effective learning experiences to promote responsible leadership.
