ABSTRACT
This is a story of the East Meets West Feminist Translation Group (Dongxifang xiangyu xiaozi) – a women’s group that meets in Beijing. Originally when Ge Youli and I wrote this piece, we tried to write it together and come up with one version of what went on. Ge Youli produced a draft, which I developed. However, even though I love Ge Youli and I agree with most things she says, I found that her experience of what went on in our precious little grouping was different from mine.
