ABSTRACT

The author explains her role as a facilitator of change within the practice of anthropology. She explains anthropology practitioners have both a moral and ethical responsibility to contribute with their tools and skills and to develop these tools and skills further in transdisciplinary settings: it is where the magic happens. Practitioners have a moral and ethical responsibility to connect with educational institutions, governments, political leaders and the private and public sectors in order to facilitate the creation of meaningful, relevant, useful and sustainable solutions to the challenges our living planet faces today and in the future.
