ABSTRACT

What difference would a panentheist God make to the axiological status of the world? In order to answer this question, I will first need to distinguish panentheism from other models of God. This is a notoriously difficult task. I briefly articulate the major models of God being debated today. In particular, these models are classical theism, neoclassical theism, open theism, panentheism, and pantheism. I seek to demarcate panentheism from its rivals, and discuss the potential axiological advantages that panentheism has over its rivals.
