ABSTRACT

There is no argument that like many other industries, brands and retailers in fashion industry are exceptional in modernity, style and the functionality. They not only influence what the customers believes, but also sell dreams. However, it this comes at a big cost. The ecological footprint they create is nowhere near sustainability. The importance of applying state-of-the-art technology in managing warehousing is increasing in all sectors of industry, including the fashion supply chain. One of the main factors which influences the profitability of a firm lies in the correct management of inventory. Variations from the prompt inventory level either way can cause losses for the industry.
