ABSTRACT

Yoko is a 36-year-old female vocalist and a member of a popular band with two other male guitarists. The band made their major debut in Japan when she was 22 years old. After releasing over 30 single songs and several albums, they decided to stop performing. The band performed on TV both live and recorded, toured the nation for live concerts, and stayed in the studio to record new songs. Yoko had noticed a power struggle among band members. Two other members and management staff usually decided the contents of their work. The band leader had been the primary lyricist, composing all of their 250 songs, except the two songs Yoko wrote and composed. As Yoko goes back to a popular artist’s life again, she knows she needs to change her life. Yoko tends to prepare too much in terms of singing and remembering lyrics.
