ABSTRACT

As many work to make the Science Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) career pipeline more inclusive, the proportion of students and faculty in STEM who experience gender-based discrimination remains high. This chapter is intended to help leaders and stakeholders evolve approaches to addressing gender-based discrimination in ways that also support full participation for campus community members. This tool is informed by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's (IHI's) recommended process of PDSA – for continuous improvement.
