ABSTRACT

This chapter aims to cast a critical eye at the project of the Digital Milliet and to compare and contrast it with other projects, whether in Digital Humanities or more traditional publications. The digital environment is a reality with which the people must grow and to which they must adapt. Obviously, the question of collaboration remains critical. It has been reiterated many times for almost a decade in various digital humanities publications. The question of funding and therefore, of the sustainability of projects is also a critical one to which there exists no perfect solution. In fact, when it comes to the study of art in antiquity, the researchers themselves face a problem in accessing primary sources, which digital tools have only solved in part, in particular as far as textual sources are concerned.
