ABSTRACT
This surrealist story is about a time when young people thought of disguising themselves and moving around to avoid being found, not letting even a girlfriend keep a photograph that could link anyone else to another – because it was possible for them to suddenly be made to disappear . This is what happened during the State crackdown of the Sinhala insurgency – young people were there one moment and not the next. There was no way in which anyone could get information about what happened. All this is surrealistically shown in this story in which the girl suddenly loses her boyfriend and no one can explain what happened.
