ABSTRACT
Felix Holland is a German Swedish architect, principal of Studio FH Architects, and co-founder of Localworks, which is an award-winning multidisciplinary design-and-build collaborative, specialising in the design and realisation of ecological architecture based in Uganda. Motivated in equal parts by idealism, pragmatism, and professionalism, the group consists of a close-knit team of professionals – architects, interior and landscape designers, civil/structural and mechanical/electrical engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers – who together are committed to advancing green architecture in theory and in practise.
