ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of the methods of financial cooperation and integration in Asia. It looks at how integrated financial systems due to trade openness, financial liberalization and mobility of factors of production lead to global value chains and the necessity for regional cooperation between countries in the South Asia region for economic growth.
