ABSTRACT

In this study, the basic discursive features that construct women’s language for peace are examined in Turkey during and after the Peace Process from a feminist perspective. The use of language that leads to social change and transformation as an important element of critical discourse analysis is also focused on. It is also discussed how discourse relates to identity, gender, cultural and geographic codes, and how and by what means discourse leads to a reconstruction, in other words change, in these areas of meaning and experience under the pressure of an authoritarian regime.
