ABSTRACT
This chapter argues that iROKOtv cultivated television programming mindful of the need to accommodate viewing on “small-small screens,” not just in Nigeria but across Africa and its global diaspora. To do so, iROKOtv relied upon familiar soap opera style narrative and visual aesthetics in developing its original television programming.
