ABSTRACT
Yesterday’s attendance at ‘The Daily News’ Sweated Industries Exhibition, Queen’s Hall, for exceeded that of any previous day, over 1,600 paying for admission. Mr George Bernard Shaw was the lecturer. Whilst the distinguished writer was speaking the crush was so great 17 that the doors had to be closed, and many hundreds of people were turned away.
