ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a discussion of Frege's account of predicates as a contribution to the question of “the unity of the proposition”. Frege's understanding of “unsaturated expressions” will be analyzed as his view(s) in respect to “(being) true”. In closing Frege's view of functions is contrasted with some ideas about a proposition's having a structure.
