ABSTRACT

COVID-19 is interconnected with the ecological crisis but the globalist top-down response repeats the failed response to that crisis by suppressing the agencies of the myriad beings which evolved together to co-assemble and sustain a habitable planet. Ecological philosophy and Gaian science offer a needed ontological turn towards recognition of the co-agency of all beings which has implications for Abrahamic creation theologies which are in the main characterised by a static cosmological paradigm. In theology the ontological turn indicates a needed recovery of the idea of a continuing divine creation which is expressed in the creative agencies of all beings.
