Written by a linguist (and co-host of the Monster Talk podcast), this chapter examines spectrophilia - sexual encounters with ghosts. The chapter opens by reviewing some of the mythology and folklore surrounding this topic and then provides recent examples from pop culture. The chapter concludes by offering some potential alternatives to reported experiences.
