ABSTRACT
An interview was conducted by the editors with Sally Chivers, based on her experience as a literature and film scholar participating in rapid ethnographic research on long-term residential care. The interview addresses the benefits and limitations of literary, social science, and arts-based approaches, how interdisciplinary research shifted thinking about long-term care, and key contemporary issues associated with care homes.
