ABSTRACT
The development of citizenship provides opportunities for children to explore the importance of individual and community responsibility in caring for the environment. Never has our personal and collective responsibility for caring for the environment been so important with the impact of global warming and climate change that is occurring presently. This chapter provides a range of practical ideas to support climate change education through the lens of citizenship education.
