ABSTRACT

The facts in relation to climate change are rapidly changing, meaning that teaching resources and materials for classroom use can become outdated soon after they are produced. This chapter focusses on practical examples and ideas for teachers to create their own sustainable and adaptable teaching resources for teaching about climate change across the curriculum. Examples of teaching resources and materials focus strongly on those that support interactive methodologies to engage children in critical thinking and self-directed learning. The chapter offers guidelines for creating games, posters and other simple resources which can be easily adapted as our understanding of climate change evolves.
