ABSTRACT
As members of an Association formed for promoting the political and social improvement of the millions, we feel that we should be wanting to the great cause we have espoused if we failed to extend our fraternal sympathies towards you at this important crisis; especially when more than sympathy is shown by many of the privileged of our country for the perjured despot you have recently scared from his throne — a man whose regal career has been a continuous warfare on human rights, and whose last effort to grind your liberties in the dust has made your streets flow with the blood of his victims.
