ABSTRACT
This volume contributes to the nascent literature in epistemology about the possibility of knowledge from error or ignorance. If this possibility holds, we might call these errors ‘illuminating’ since they (somehow) lead us to knowledge. The volume makes a substantial contribution to this literature because it not only moves forward existing debates surrounding the possibility of knowledge from error, but it also enlarges the debate by introducing fresh, new perspectives on the issues.
