ABSTRACT
The Internet of Toys is an area of growing interest for children, parents, and scholars alike. This chapter interrogates the characteristics of these technologies and explores issues associated with children's digital footprints, data privacy, and security issues. It also highlights the regulatory challenges associated with these digital artefacts while noting that children often find IoToys to be engaging and empowering.
