ABSTRACT
This chapter will offer the reader insight into the concepts of sexuality and sexual health, and an outline of sexual rights and sexual health promotion and components including reproductive health and gender dysphoria. It will provide a discussion of sexuality and sexual health and sexual violence using the example of sexual minorities as one vulnerable subpopulation, as well as providing an opportunity to build a knowledge base and develop nursing skills specific to sexual health promotion and intervention in relation to sexually transmissible infections.
