ABSTRACT
This chapter will offer the reader an insight into the history and current contexts of nursing and people with cosmetic and related concerns, an outline of the key health issues facing people with cosmetic and related concerns, and a description of contemporary contexts of the nursing of people with cosmetic and related concerns occurs. This chapter will also provide readers with an opportunity to build a knowledge base and develop nursing skills specific to people with cosmetic and aesthetic concerns. It will also provide an overview of future challenges to nursing and nurses who practice in this area which is both cosmetic and medical in nature.
