ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the most frequently cited barriers to delivering an equitable speech and language therapy service for bilingual children and their families. Written by practitioners drawing on many decades of experience, practical and ethical methods of breaking down these barriers are identified. The multiple advantages of an equitable, home language service are summarised.
